Edit Canon EOS Rebel T6s and T6i MP4 in FCP X via ProRes MOV

Final Cut Pro (FCP X, FCP 7, FCP 6) and Canon EOS Rebel T6s and T6i Best Workflow

Step 1: Install and launch the Canon EOS Rebel T6s and T6i video converter on Mac and click the "Add" button to load Canon Full HD .mp4 files for converting.

Step 2: Click "Format" bar and choose Final Cut Pro X -> Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov) as output format for editing raw 1080P in FCP X with natively supported video codec.

Step 3: To get a perfect video for editing in FCP X, you’d better press the Settings icon to set the video size as 1920*1080, frame rate as 30fps in the Profiles Settings panel.

Step 4: After above settings, hit "Convert" button to start transcoding Canon EOS Rebel T6s and T6i MP4 to Apple ProRes MOV for directly importing to FCP X.

Once the process completes, you can click "Open" to locate the .mpg files ready to be imported into FCP X, FCP 7 and FCP 6.
